Device to device (D2D) communication is a technology model that enables mobile devices to communicate directly with each other without the intervention of a base station or enabled Node B (eNB). It helps the reuse of LTE-Advanced radio frequency resources of the network. With this paper, we simulated two metrics in delay and throughput. According to simulation results, D2D mode is the best option for communication when two mobile devices are close to one another but far from the eNB.
